Next time when you see a person, even if it’s a celebrity, use your words wisely. You don’t have to comment on how skinny someone is or how much weight they have gained.
Your kid would think that it’s okay to say anything about someone’s fitness. But it can be rude! You might not even realize, and your child may start perceiving their body image in a certain way.
Maybe you adore being skinny, and thus, they would think it’s important. You have to let your kids know that a healthy BMI is important, and everything else is secondary.
